For over three decades, Camp of the Hills has been a place of transformation, providing hope and restoration through Christ-centered ministry serving low-income, at-risk and underserved children. This is for an executive leader to step in and build upon a deeply rooted legacy.
We are searching for a servant leader with a deep heart for ministry, an inspiring presence, and the strategic acumen to guide our camp into a sustainable and thriving future. Core Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership to uphold and advance Camp of the Hills’ mission.
- Engage in fundraising, donor development, and financial oversight, managing a seven-figure budget with transparency and excellence.
- Oversee strategic planning, goal setting, KPIs, and accountability measures to ensure ministry effectiveness.
- Manage and develop staff with an emphasis on team dynamics, professional growth, and organizational health.
- Spearhead capital projects, working with contractors, securing funding, and executing plans effectively.
- Optimizing camp assets and resources to generate revenue and serve the broader community outside of the summer camp season.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the board of directors, fostering alignment between governance and operations.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a Christian camp, nonprofit/ministry or corporate setting.
- Pastoral or discipleship background, demonstrating a history of relational, Christ-centered leadership.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cash-flow analysis, and board reporting.
- Master-site plan oversight experience, from fundraising to construction management.
- The ability to navigate challenges with flexibility, balancing self-discipline with adaptability.
