STEPPING INTO THE NEXT 20 YEARS!

2010

     With 2010 Camp of the Hills begins its third decade of serving inner city and at risk children!  The first 20 years saw a dream become a reality with the establishment of the facilities and manpower that the Lord brought together to introduce more than 9,000 children to Jesus.  In addition counselors and volunteers have been moved to become mission workers and more dedicated Christians at home. Countless struggles and almost unsurpassable impasses have been overcome through the grace and guidance of God’s Holy Spirit.  Today we stand on the edge of planning and implementing the next 20 years of introducing Jesus to the most needy and underprivileged children in the Southwest.  We hope that you will join us in this important and rewarding privilege of spreading the love of Jesus.

     The most important task before us in 2010 is to broaden our base of committed monthly supporters.  In the first twenty years the Camp’s Board members have been the financial backbone of insuring that all financial needs were met.  These committed individuals used their blessings from God to give sacrificially to the needs of this ministry.  They have shouldered the load of cost not only of operating the camp but also the construction of all the facilities that now exist.  Along with literally thousands of volunteers and donors Camp of the Hills is no longer just a dream.  It stands ready to introduce the love of Jesus to thousands of young souls in the future.
